Global PM’s PMI-SP Certification exam preparation course is a 3-day / 21 hours “boot camp” that provides the client with all the necessary tools needed to pass the PMI-SP exam on the first try! This workshop is comprised of a mixture of instructor lecture with PMI® certified materials, online exercises and tests, group exercises/games, and a 170 question (3.5 hour) online mock exam.

The course is currently based on the 6th edition PMBOK® Guide and focuses on the 5 Project Management Process Groups and their integration with the 10 Knowledge Areas.

PMI-SP Exam Prerequisites

Candidates applying for certification as Project Management Institute Scheduling Professionals must satisfy the educational and experiential requirements for one of the following categories listed below and agree to abide by the Project Management Professional Code of Professional Conduct.

Requirements categories.

  • Secondary degree / high school diploma
  • 5,000 hours project scheduling experience
  • 40 hours project scheduling education

OR

  • Four-year degree
  • 3,500 hours project scheduling experience
  • 30 hours project scheduling education
The Exam & Credential Maintenance

 

Gain and Maintain Your PMI-SP

  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and you have 3.5 hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PMI-SP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) every three years in the specialized topic of project scheduling. This requirement is very easy to meet as meetings, books, webinars, and courses are all sources of PDUs.
