Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management (PPM) is a Windows-based project scheduling tool that consists of P6 Professional client, which is installed locally on your PC or Server and connects to a database. Many users like it because of its stability and reporting capabilities. Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) is a web-based solution that many feel is more suited for medium/large organizations. P6 EPPM includes clients but is also includes a web interface and is mobile compatible. Both versions may be hosted in the cloud and accessed from any PC with internet access.
