This introductory level course provides hands-on training for Oracle’s Primavera P6 Release 17 (Client/Server). Students will gain experience building a schedule from scratch, updating and monitoring the schedule, and generating reports. Participants also gain knowledge in the concepts of planning & scheduling. Attendees may use P6 release 6-17 for class exercises.

Global PM’s Primavera P6 training in Manhattan, NY (Near Penn Station) is taught by experienced, Oracle Primavera P6 certified instructors. As an alternative to attending P6 Training in New York, clients may choose to attend a virtual, instructor-led workshop from home or work. Dates are below.

P6 Training Guarantee!  We include 60 days of follow-up support with your instructor to ask additional questions. You may also take a complimentary refresher course within 6 months of your course date. Both are offered at NO extra charge.

Primavera P6 Specialization: Global PM has been recognized by Oracle as a Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management “Specialized” partner. To achieve this recognition, Global PM had to successfully complete a number of rigorous tests in the areas of Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management product knowledge and software implementation expertise.

This course is 19.5 contact hours which may be reported to PMI for 19.5 PDUs.


Trey Miller, MBA, PMP currently serves as Sr. Instructor and Director of Educational Services with Global PM. The majority of Mr. Miller’s career has been spent providing project management training and consulting services for clients in the construction, oil and gas, government, and utility industries. To date, Trey has trained over 3,000 individuals on topics including PMP Certification Exam Preparation, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Leadership, etc.

Mr. Miller graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.S. degree and an MBA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Project management certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) (Project Management Institute – 2005) and Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Certified Implementation Specialist.

Cedric Tubman is an Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Certified Implementation Specialist with over 20 years of experience performing Project Management duties (managing, controlling scheduling, training, cost engineering, process documentation, methodology development and operational testing). He has utilized Primavera products for 16 years continuously and has trained over 2,500 Primavera users within the past 15 years as a certified Primavera Trainer. Cedric has 7 years of experience managing projects (Construction, IT, and Primavera Implementations).  He has 12 years of experience performing scheduling functions (99% using Primavera products).

Mr. Tubman has a Bachelors degree from Oregon Institute of Technology in Industrial Management.
