[price-item item_number=”6″ category=”PRICE_TABLE_CATEGORY”]So, there is a lot of question as to how many activities you can have in a P6 schedule, specifically within the web interface of P6. We can put this to rest now!

How many activities can you have in a schedule (within in the P6 web interface)?

5,000 vs. unlimited. That is the question!

There is no limit to the number of activities you can have in a project.  The web can be limited for performance reasons.  There is an admin application setting that controls the number of activities that can be displayed in the Activity View.

In the Maximum Activities per Activity View field, enter the maximum number of activities that can display in the Activities tab of the Projects section.

If greater than 5,000, the Maximum memory allocated to Java Applets setting must be 128 or greater. The default is 5,000. Enter anything from 1 – 100,000.
